Joseph Pearce
Joseph Pearce is a world-recognized biographer of modern Christian literary figures, including Chesterton, Tolkien, Solzhenitsyn and Hilaire Belloc. He became Catholic in 1989 as a result of researching several 20th century Christian literary figures who converted to Catholicism. Joseph is writer- in-residence and professor of Literature at Ave Maria University, serves as editor of the Saint Austin Review and is editor-in-chief of Sapientia Books, also writing for periodicals in the U.K., U.S.A., and Canada. Mr. Pearce has spoken at many European and American conferences, television, and radio programs.

Mariette Ulrich
Mariette Ulrich, married to Dan, is a mother of seven, and a freelance writer. She received an Honours B.A. in English Literature and then joyfully relinquished a Master's scholarship in favour of full-time career mothering and teaching at home, a decision she has never regretted. She has been writing professionally for more than a dozen years. Mariette will address the challenge of being beautiful without being a slave to the beauty trade.

Joe & Janice Lawrence
Joe Laurence, a plumber by trade, finds great joy as a musician/songwriter, and Janice, who loves literature, finds home schooling their 9 children, aged1 to 16, to be her greatest source of joy. By keeping their Catholic faith central, Joe and Janice maintain their footing during the major challenges and discover the beauty of the Lord's hand in the daily details. They will illustrate some of what they've learned in this dynamic presentation.

Father Paul Kavanagh
Born on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Fr. Paul grew up in Sherwood Park. He entered the Seminary of Christ the King, Mission, BC in 1993 and St. Joseph's Seminary in 1997, where he earned his Master of Divinity. He was ordained a deacon on May 23, 2001 and a priest one year later. He served in parishes until being named Director of Liturgy and Master of Ceremonies to Archbishop Smith in 2008. In 2009 he began studies toward an MA in Liturgy.
